Our LGBTQ friends, family, and neighbors are valuable. We affirm everyone's (including our own) sexual orientation and gender identity as valid and REAL

We live in one of the most progressive and LGBTQ-friendly states in the nation and practically next door to one of the gayest cities in the state. To anyone living here though, the San Gorgonio Pass area can feel like an LGBTQ desert where being out and proud feels impossible.

But we are not alone! Between 5 and 8% of people in the US identify as LGBTQ. For the Pass area, that is over 10,000 people and growing!

We need to reach out to and support each other and build strong connections. We can take advantage of LGBTQ resources in the wider local area and learn from and connect with people and organizations around the country to build up ourselves and others in the Pass area to form local mutual aid networks and lift each other up.
